About Me
I work as a Senior Threat Intelligence Advisor at Mandiant where I help security leaders to better understand their threat landscape and utilise threat intelligence in their decision-making. I am passionate about building a dialogue between technical and non-technical communities, as well as improving career pathways into cyber security.
I keep a foot in academia as an Associate Fellow at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI). I also lead on Mandiant's academic engagement within EMEA where I am involved in various research collobration and outreach initiatives. I hold a DPhil (PhD) in Cyber Security from the University of Oxford and was also previously a Cyber Security Fulbright Scholar at MIT. My doctoral research focused on the diffuse and decentralised nature of cyber security provision and I have also published on a variety of topics including e-government, encryption, critical infrastructure and the changing role of signals intelligence agencies.
Before joining Mandiant I was the Threat Intelligence Team Lead at Digital Shadows. I also have previous work experience with PwC India, the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence, and Oxford Analytica (not to be confused with Cambridge Analytica).
